Podkarpackie Centrum Innowacji

Wspieranie, integrowanie i inspirowanie – to trzy filary działalności Podkarpackiego Centrum Innowacji (PCI). Pierwszy filar – program grantowy PCI – wspiera prace badawczo-rozwojowe podkarpackich jednostek naukowych. Drugi filar to integrowanie nauki z przemysłem w obszarze specjalistycznych potrzeb przedsiębiorstw, w tym badań i wzorcowania produktów. Służy temu Podkarpacka Sieć Laboratoriów Badawczych i Wzorcujących, w której zrzeszonych jest już ponad 100 laboratoriów. Trzecim filarem jest działający w PCI ProtoLab. Na powierzchni ponad 2000 m² działają nowoczesne pracownie (i warsztaty), z których bezpłatnie mogą korzystać wszyscy zainteresowani innowacjami. Miejsce służy  do prototypowania i weryfikacji pomysłów. Efekty uzyskane w ramach projektów mogą być komercjalizowane i wykorzystane bezpośrednio w przemyśle. Tutaj przedsiębiorcy mogą spotkać młodych i ambitnych ludzi oraz zlecić opracowanie konkretnego prototypu lub poszukanie rozwiązania problemu. ProtoLab pobudza do rozwoju młode talenty i ułatwia kontakty biznesowe już na wczesnym etapie. Społeczność ProtoLabu korzysta ze szkoleń i uczestniczy w imprezach organizowanych w PCI.

Podkarpackie Innovation Centre

Supporting, integrating and inspiring – these are the three pillars of the Podkarpackie Innovation Centre’s (PCI) activities. The first pillar – the PCI grant programme – supports the research and development work of scientific units in the Podkarpackie region. The second pillar is the integration of science and industry in the area of specialised business needs, including product testing and calibration. This is served by the Podkarpackie Network of Testing and Calibration Laboratories, in which more than 100 laboratories are already affiliated. The third pillar is the ProtoLab operating in the PCI. With an area of more than 2,000 m², there are modern laboratories (and workshops) that can be used free of charge by anyone interested in innovation. The space is used for prototyping and verifying ideas. The results obtained from the projects can be commercialised and used directly in industry. Here, entrepreneurs can meet young and ambitious people and commission them to develop a specific prototype or look for a solution to a problem. ProtoLab stimulates the development of young talent and facilitates business contacts at an early stage. The ProtoLab community benefits from training and participates in events organised at the PCI.
